Optimized for areas with limited assembly space

Intercontec is presenting at the SPS/IPC 2015 to our trade audience an additional product within our Series 923 speedtec.

Since September 2015, available for the first time a short and robust 923 receptacle with our quick lock fastener system that reduces your connection time.

Overlapping of the insulator in the interior of the device makes is to possible to mounted in limited assembly spaces.

This innovation can be applied to other cases where contours of a confined space interfere with the assembly. Comparing to the use of our standard version, the user can save up to 20 mm of space when using the receptacle in combination with our speedtec short power plug.

The quick lock fastener is available with a flange mount 25 x 25 mm, alternatively also with 28 x 28 mm and with all common pin layouts (6, 8-, 9-pins).

The cross section for our power connectors is max. 4,0 mm² and max. 1,5 mm² for our signal connectors. The highest achieved rated current is max. 30 amperes (A) for power and 7 amperes for signal connectors. Also the rated insulation voltage is measured at 6.000 volts (V) for power and 2.500 volts for signal connectors.

The housing is zinc die-casted and nickel-plated which assures optimal corrosion protection. The IP protection type of any Intercontec connection is IP 66/67 and if needed this can be qualified to IP 68/69 in our in-house laboratory. The vibration resistance is measured after EN60512-5-2 and ensured to 20g.
